About Us
Kentucky B.A.S.S. Nation is an affiliate of B.A.S.S Nation whose shared goal is to promote and encourage youth fishing through education, conservation, and the highest degree of sportsmanship. Our youth focused organization seeks to cultivate a passion for bass fishing in a growing community of anglers in a new generation.
Tournament Approach
In Kentucky, there are three (3) trails which provide tournament opportunities for grades 6th - 12th with the end goal of fostering berths into each year's Bassmaster High School & Junior National Championships. Throughout the year, we host between 12 to 15 tournaments, spread across the three (3) regional trails and statewide events in both the fall and spring. Anglers are encouraged to participate in as few or as many tournaments as they desire.
Our Staff
Competitive youth bass fishing tournaments led by Kentucky B.A.S.S. Nation are coordinated and executed by experienced tournament directors who have the club coaching and team management experience to organize events aimed at instilling values of sportsmanship and safety while fostering healthy competition among high school and junior bass fishing teams.
Did you know? None of the active Board of Directors and the individual trail Directors are paid a salary of any kind! These are all unpaid volunteers who dedicate their personal time away from their families to make these trails possible!
